"I have recently discovered a website that has a number of really good London Walks, but my favourite is the one (or two, depending on how you count) that get into the history of the area around the flats. It's fascinating, and starts close to home - what could be better! If you're up for it (and it's a nice day) try to do both walks together - they'll give you a real sense of the history of Holborn, Clerkenwell and the City of London.
