London shops - Kris

Question of the week: With Christmas on the horizon, can you recommend a favourite London shop?

"If you're sill looking for that special something to take home from London, check out the shop at the Courtauld Gallery. It has the typical selections of London nick-knacks, books and postcards that you can find in any museum shop, but the diverse collection at the Courtauld Gallery means that the shop has lots of things that you would never expect to find.

There is a selection of Iznik pottery, as well as Impressionist mouse pads; jewellery inspired by everything from Monet to the Middle Ages, and everything in between. And there's just something special about it - everything they have is, well, nice. You can tell that it was chosen with care with an eye for quality; everything from academic books written by top scholars to hand made Christmas ornaments is beautifully made and presented. And you're bound to find something that you'd love to take home, and things that people would love to receive."
